Asus laptops and computer have global warranty on most of the products normally its for 1 year and if you extend the warranty so it will be just local warranty. HP i doubt they have itthere was thread some where here saying HP is declining warranty for Laptops brought outside IndiaAcer SonyToshiba have it. If repair is needed the phone technician will arrange for service by contacting the Dell call center in the country where the customer is located. The HP service centre says that there is no way they can know if my warranty is international or limited to only country of purchase and that I should ask the dealer I bought it from.
